I think there i none except in the good traffic ranking.

Having a good Alexa ranking give the user an experience the website has more authority, but you can get Alexa lower if you want, with directs, or go to Alexage and have them lower it for you.

Alex not gives you any reputation it will give you your website's traffic ranking by geographic area or international.

I don't think anyone considers Alexa ranking now. It has lost it's importance in online world, mainly because there are so many ways to manipulate Alexa rankings. You can buy paid traffic and send to your site and your alexa rank will increase instantly.
