Default Your True Inspiration

As designers, it's common knowledge that some of us need certain things going on within our working environment in order to be able to concentrate properly.

I for one like some ambient music and ambient lighting to set a comfortable warm mood, and you just can't beat a warm cup of coffee at the same time.

What puts you in the mood? (to design, I mean)

Seeing a really awesome website, illustration or idea usually gets me into gear better than anything. I have a passion for creativity in any form, so moticational material is easy to find on the internet. I love CGS the most.

I'm always listening to music while I'm designing, so that helps me get in the mood. I also tend to focus the best late at night.

I usually start working on the heavier projects at around 11pm when the town starts to settle down and the house is quiet. Given the right environment I can churn out a good amount of work in a single night, usually working until the early morning (7, 8am)

I much prefer to work at night also. Inspiration comes from everything, i'm very lucky as i have little problem creating ideas, finishing, well thats another matter.

I prefer to start work late when theres no nagging and no girlfriend phoning me every second. I couldn't say the late night banter with Anthony and Kye keeps me focused though haha.

I have the bad habbit of starting something then wanting to start something else at the same time and getting muddled with the two.

I used to have the same problem KYE, but when your client load gets heavier as I can guarantee it will with your skill and style, you'll soon realise how to prioritise certain projects as factors such as budget, timeframe and ease of completion come into play.

My inspiration comes from stock photos. I look around until I find one I like, and then everything develops from there.

I tend to do the exact same thing Kye. I always end up having two great templates that are both done about 25 %, then forgetting about them in the end.
