Default Is light stress a good motivator?

I have spoken to numerous individuals on this topic and it seems that many of them agree that stressing a little over a project provides the necessary motivation to get it done. To a certain extent, I agree with this. In me at least, it does create a sense of urgency which translates in to motivation to get the task done.

I think stress has been my motivator for just about any project I've done. Deadlines give me stress, expectations give me stress, wanting to make everything perfect gives me stress. I'm such a stressed out person lol!

As long as we don't stress so much that it causes us self-damage, it can give us a nice adrenaline push.

I suppose some sort of stress/pressure can motivate you to do better/meet deadlines.

Stress is definitely a constant companion in the freelance world. Those who can't handle stress shouldn't even consider freelancing. That said, there needs to be a recognisable point at which useful stress crosses the boundaries into potentially harmful stress.

A little stress gives you that push to achieve - too much stress can push you into a hospital bed. Learn to recognise your body's signals, and if it all feels as if it's getting too much for you, seek medical help.

Memory loss happens to everyone, even if it occurs on differing levels and ages for each of us. Work conflict is defined when the demands of career and family overlap. Being late or unavailable to show for an important family event due to an excessive workload will certainly be a cause of stress.
